Australian White Opal Necklace
Opals were formed millions of years ago when a combination of silica and water flowed into cracks and spaces in the ground; this hardened and solidified becoming the stone Opal. The minute droplets of water trapped in the opal refract light giving off a hypnotic array of colors. Opal is said to be the stone of love, wealth, luck and health, of great achievement and the stone of Goddesses and Gods. Opal is a favorite gemstone of mine. These particular organic shaped beads are hard to find making this necklace truly one of a kind.
Three strands of hand knotted Australian white opal nuggets parade out of sterling silver cones. The 30 x 15 mm sterling silver cones have a delightful design of circle cut outs. The hand knotted cord is of a soft aqua color. The total length is 21” and is very adjustable. Sterling silver chain and lobster claw clasp finish this unique adornment. $250.00
