Paua shell ( abalone shell ) is one of the most beautiful shells because of its variety of ocean colors and iridescent patterns, catching glints of light when viewed from various angles. In this piece I gave special attention to creating a unique combination of captivating colors, using Swarovski crystals of pink alabaster, turquoise and violet to bring out the colorful luster of these Paua shells.
